Re-aligning thread dial

If you want to re-aligning your thread dial (in case the lines on the face do not line up how you like with the "mark" on the outer casting), the following will work.

The image below is of the thread dial off the machine just to show the nut i will be talking about...

With the thread dial mounted to machine, i locked the threading half-nut (note: machine is off), reached under the brass 24 tooth gear and loosened the nut (there is a lock washer) then spun the dial to where i wanted and tighten the nut.

While i had the thread dial off the idea to add a little oiler to the housing came to mind. Soon to come...
